April 13

10:30am to 2:30pm

In this 4 hour workshop we will cover the basics and fundamentals of character design, concept art and visual design on what makes a great villain, hero, sidekick and supporting characters.

We will cover steps to ensure that the final design, art composition and file type are ready for a specific type of project including Games, Animation, Comics and Children’s Books.

Our creative workflow will go over traditional and digital workflows that make the creative process easy to follow, we will have a period for hands on creating your characters, rough sketching, drawing and detailing final touches.

Everyone will receive handouts with notes, templates, links to character resources and instructions on who to follow in the industry and community members.

Come ready to learn and draw!
