R&F Handmade Pigment Sticks (38ml) and Drawing Oils (12ml) are oil paint in solid, stick form, designed to be drawn, layered, and blended directly on the surface without brushes. Made from pure, finely ground pigments combined with linseed oil and natural waxes, they deliver the same richness, permanence, and drying properties as traditional tube oil paints. Unlike oil pastels, which remain soft and never fully dry, R&F sticks cure and harden over time, allowing for true oil painting techniques such as layering, glazing, scraping, and varnishing. They can be used on their own or alongside tube oils, offering a tactile, immediate way to paint while maintaining professional, archival results.
